How to clean natural stone wall tiles?
One of our best and finest maintenance products is the Boenzeep. The floor soap is composed of vegetable oils, soap, and a little perfume. This nourishing soap can be used on all types of porous surfaces, both natural stone and terracotta.
Scrub soap ensures that a surface becomes clean. Besides, it nourishes the tiles. The food is basically the vegetable oil in the floor soap, it fills pores in the tiles so that dirt cannot penetrate afterward. So your floor stays clean longer. Therefore, maintain your natural stone with floor soap!
What is the best natural stone cleaner?
We have scrub soap in 2 sizes:
1-liter bottle: For small surfaces.
5-liter bottle: For large surfaces.
There are several ways in which floor soap can be used. First and foremost, it is a good maintenance product. So a dash or cap of floor soap in the mop water once every 3 to 4 weeks is sufficient for standard maintenance. Furthermore, you only need to mop with warm water.
The food makes the floor less sensitive to stains. This is because pollution cannot penetrate the surface.

If a floor has not been maintained for a long time, it can become very bare. A bare floor often looks a bit dull and stains quickly appear.
Pollution can easily penetrate the surface. If a floor gives off, it can also be a sign that there is a (too) little cleaning with a nourishing product.
We advise applying the scrub soap pure once first. This gives the stone a kind of boost in nutrition. The color-deepening effect is often best visible here.
The dullness of the stone disappears and the color is picked up again. For extremely bare floors, we recommend applying the floor soap a second time pure a day later.
Maintain your natural stone with floor soap
Scrub soap can be used both indoors and outdoors. The nourishing effect is extra important outside. Indoor tiles are often impregnated. Such an impregnation provides a protective layer in the top layer of the stone.
This layer remains optimal for about 5 – 10 years. If maintenance is done with a nourishing product now and then, then that is an addition to that protective layer.
However, such a protective layer of impregnation disappears outside. This is mainly done by UV light, which dissolves the layer in about 2-3 months.
For this reason, we always recommend not to impregnate outside. However, a nourishing soap can provide protection that prevents stains and adhesion of moss and algae deposits. This way, your patio will also remain beautiful and clean for longer.
The product also gives a light color-deepening effect, we, therefore, advise not to use this product on white marble. For other maintenance products, you can also read the following article: “7 Maintenance products for natural stone in the spotlight.”
